A trained nurse and midwife who has held clinical, operational and strategic management roles. Having worked withing acute and primary care settings, her understanding of the issues facing services wanting to modernise is considerable. Sue has deveolped specific interest in the application of work-based learning and works closely with Middlesex University to facilitate regional and national programmes using this approach to accredit learning through experience. Sue's current position in Head of Learning and External Consultancy where she has responsibility for the design and delivery of training and development within DHSC (North) and externally with national agencies such as NatPact and Mod Agency.
